The current registration fee is $32 for ordination that is accepted in most states and local jurisdictions (two-year licensing term). Please contact the county clerk in your area for information on local regulations.

Manhattan Marriage Bureau NOTE: If you intend to conduct marriage ceremonies in any of the five boroughs of New York City (Brooklyn, The Bronx, Manhattan, Queens or Staten Island), you are required to register with the city's Marriage Bureau in Manhattan.
Special documents from the Church are required by the Marriage Bureau in order for your ordination to be valid.

TO OBTAIN REGISTRATION AS A LICENSED MINISTER AND CERTIFIED WEDDING OFFICIANT, PLEASE REVIEW THE INFORMATION BELOW: 1. Registration as a Certified Wedding Officiant legally authorizes you to officiate wedding ceremonies or other such ceremonies wherein individuals or joined in lawful union. Within the terms of your certification, you may also conduct funerals, baptisms, house blessings and any other ceremony or ceremonies which require a legally certified or ordained minister or officiant; 2. Your certification legally authorizes you to employ the title "Certified Wedding Officiant" through registration with the American Council of Wedding Officiants (hereinafter "ACWO"). You are legally authorized to employ the abbreviation "O.C." ("Ordained Clergy") to designate your status within the church; i.e., Charles Jones, O.C., or Miss Jane Smith, O.C.; 3. You may not perform religious rites, including (but not limited to) ceremonial religious services, that require specific training, studies, ordination or accreditation by certain religious orders or organizations without the stated direct authorization of that body; 4. You may not use or otherwise represent your certification as an indication that you are ordained as a religious minister, cleric or other representative of a church, religious order or organization other than First Nation Church; 5. You may not use or otherwise represent your certification other than as a ceremonial minister or officiant. You may not represent your certification as being an educational or doctoral degree, and may not use it in conjunction with any title, including (but not limited to) Doctor ("Dr."), Reverend ("Rev.") or Honorable ("Hon."), unless legally authorized to do so by a recognized educational, religious or governmental organization; 6. You may not use or otherwise represent your certification in order to claim tax-exempt status as an individual, or to avoid the payment of any tax, whether personal or corporate, that you may be obligated to pay as a result of conducting your authorized duties; 7. Your certification must be obtained under your full, legal name. You may not employ an alias, nickname, "stage name" or assumed name in obtaining certification. Any unauthorized or unlawful use of status as a minister or Certified Wedding Officiant will be subject to review and may result in the withdrawal of certification at the discretion of the American Council of Wedding Officiants; 8. You alone are responsible for becoming familiar with the legal requirements for officiating at a wedding ceremony within any local jurisdiction, and you alone are responsible for complying with and adhering to any such legal requirements that may be enforced at the federal, state, county or municipal level. You are strongly encouraged to visit the official website of the Secretary of State for the state in which you intend to perform services, as well as for any county or municipality, in order to confirm and verify local legal requirements. (A synopsis of states recognizing certification from the American Council of Wedding Officiants may be viewed at www.acwo.net); 9. You are obligated to pay a nominal processing fee in order to register as a Certified Wedding Officiant. Your registration becomes effective immediately upon acceptance of payment by the Council. Certified documents are sent via First Class Mail (domestic) or Global Air Mail (international). Expedited or express shipment is available at an additional charge, and temporary or provisional documents may also be offered for an extra fee. 10. Your documents will be processed, printed and shipped for First Nation Church by LRS Fulfillment Services.
